Binomial name: Trochalopteron erythrocephalum, Nicholas Aylward Vigors, 1832
The Chestnut-crowned Laughingthrush (Garrulax erythrocephalus) is a species of bird in the Leiothrichidae family. It is found in Bhutan, China, India, and Nepal.
This species is sometimes placed in the genus Trochalopteron.
The Assam Laughingthrush, formerly included as a subspecies, is now usually regarded as a separate species.
