We had a fun two day guided tour of Khao Yai. Our guide was great, and really worked hard to find birds we wanted to see. The hikes were great, and the wildlife was awesome. Also the coordination and flexibility prior to the tour were awesome. Thank you so much

It was one of our best experiences in our vacation! Our Guide Jum is an absolut expert and very friendly. She explained US so much details about the wildlife, had an incredible good eye for finding the littlest bird in some far away tree and finally had a good sense of humor. We even saw wild elephants, that was so impressive!

5/5 I can definitely recommend it.

Overall we had a memorable tour as we saw many animals including an elephant.

The Good

1. The pre tour communication was prompt and effective. All my inquiries were answered in a timely manner.

2. The tour guide was very good in spotting animals. He was fluent in English and answered all our questions about the animals around. When it rained during the drive, he stopped the truck, put down the cover around the back of the truck where we were sitting while getting himself soaked.

Areas for Improvement

1. 2 lunches and 1 dinner are all from the same cafe with a very limited menu.

2. Our first jungle hike was in a leech abundant area - it was terrorizing to see the leeches crawling up the pants and shirts, and get bitten. Wish the guide had given us a warning to prepare us better.

Noi was an absolutely, amazing guide. She was warm and friendly from the very start. She really knew how to entertain our 3 kids and make them laugh! We arrived at the park in an open jeep and were immediately surrounded by butterflies. From there, Noi knew exactly the best places to go to see an astounding array of wildlife. We saw wild elephants running right next to our vehicle, fished a scorpion from its nest, spotted many rare hornbills and took in porcupines, monkeys, turtles, lizards, gibbons and more over our 2-day tour. The food at lunch and dinner was delicious and we even got the opportunity to be taught how to prepare a delectable papaya salad. Noi shared what it had been like to grow up around the park and how to identify a number of the edible plants. Added to that we saw some unforgettable vistas from the peak, at the waterfalls and at the clifftops. The whole process from booking to payment to collection was smooth, simple and very professional. They were flexible with collection times to match our travel schedule. It was immersive, educational and an absolute highlight of our holiday to Thailand.

We've had a wonderful experience with Thai National Parks. We booked a 2 day tour of Khao Yai with a pick-up from and return to our hotel in Bangkok. Everything went smoothly. The communication with Thai National Parks prior to the tour was perfect.

Our guide was really friendly and knowledgable about the fauna and flora of Khao Yai. We had the chance to observe many birds, insects, reptiles and mammals living in the park including gibbons and elephants. .

The tour in Khao Yai was defintely a highlight of our stay in Thailand and I would recommend it to anyone.

We had a great couple of days in the park. Our guide was constantly on the lookout for wildlife and ended up spotting some really interesting (and hard-to-see) things.
