Doi Inthanon National Park adventure tour (rainy season)
This tour is available only during the rainy season from 1st of June until 31st October.
Also known as "The Roof of Thailand", Doi Inthanon is the highest point in Thailand at 2,565 meters above the sea level. Locally known mostly for its cool weather all year round, it is one of the best national parks in northern Thailand, home to many waterfalls and a popular destination for birders. The park has a great diversity of forest types throughout different altitudes. At the higher altitudes the forests are humid all year round.
A day-tour in Doi Inthanon National Park includes hiking, visiting the highest point in Thailand, Two Chedis, waterfalls and Hmong hill-tribe market.
This is an example itinerary. The program may change depending on weather conditions, accessibility issues or any other obstacles. On eventual change of the itinerary we always make sure that the quality of our guests experience and personal safety are safeguarded.
From 8 a.m. to about 5-6 p.m.
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel with a a/c minibus 8 a.m. in the early morning. Our first stop will be the summit of Doi Inthanon which is the highest point in Thailand, we will drive all the way to the top. After spending some time at the top and enjoying the view we will visit the Two Chedis that has been constructed to honour 60th birthday anniversaries of King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit. Before the afternoon session we will stop by at a Hmong market where products from the Royal Project are for sale and eat lunch at a local restaurant.
After the lunch, we will get to the starting point of the Doi Inthanon trekking for a two hours long trekking accompanied by a Karen guide. Along this route we will cross a river several times, see a majestic multi-tiered waterfall cascading towards a Karen village called Ban Mae Klang Luang where our trek ends. At the village we will spend some time to learn about coffee cultivation. You can taste a delicious cup of Mae Klang Luang coffee, if you like. On the late afternoon you will be taken back to your hotel.

Tata is a very good guide, he know what „farang“ looking for. It was a very good day trip with him. Even havy rain was not bad for our trip. He guide us in the forest, show us interesting animals and places. Even food was good. The night safary with the ranger, I never would do this again. They were not realy interested to show us somthing special. Maybe next time I wanna ask, if Tata can bring us to the bat Cave, think is more interesting than night safari with the rangers. I will come again with this company.

We visited two national park while in Thailand, Khao Yai and Khao Sok. We LOVED them both! At Khao Yai we booked a full day and night safari tour and our guide, Beer, was wonderful! We had so much fun exploring the park with him and learning about the animals we saw. Lunch and dinner were both delicious as well. At Khao Sok we rented a long tail bot for three hours and explored the water. My one recommendation to other would be to get to the pier EARLY. We arrived at 8am and were able to find a boat right away. When we returned at 11am the docks were packed full out people trying to get on boats and ended up having to share with others, whereas we got our own private long tail. Both parks were beautiful in their own way and I hope to return some day!

We arranged the 1.5 jungle tour with Thai National Parks. Communication by mail went very smooth, accurate information and swift replies. The tour operator arranged taxi transport from and back to Bangkok. One was our tourguide for the bat cave . She was very friendly spoke good english and was as enthusiastic as we were to see the bats. We took great pictures and enjoyed talking to her about Thailand and the Thai people. For the next day we had Tata as our guide. He spoke good English and he succeeded in showing us the great hornbills, the different monkeys, snakes, beautiful birds, the crocodile, spiders and a group of elephants with baby elephants. We had fantastic lunch made by local ladies. We enjoyed walking through the real jungle with its wonderful vegetation and animal sounds. Without Tata we would not have seen any animal. We either walked past them and he showed us where to look and ofcourse he knows his way around the huge park so he took us to the right places. It was great to see and feel his passion for nature enjoying the trip himself and being as euphoric about seeing the animals as we were. This was a highlight in our trip to Thailand and we certainly recommend it to everyone!

We had a wonderful time in the Khao Yai National Park, due to our friendly guide and the driver. We saw a lot of wild animals in the jungle. We are very happy to have asked for a private one-day tour. Our guide knew so much about the animals, photographing and all aspects of the parc a visitor would like to know.
Our thanks to "Beer" and "Nat" for this life experience!
We wish the team all the best for the future. We also thank for protecting and taking care of the animals in the parc.
