Brown barbet

Binomial name: Caloramphus fuliginosus, Coenraad Jacob Temminck, 1830

The brown barbet (Caloramphus fuliginosus) is a species of bird in the Megalaimidae family. It is found in Brunei, Kalimantan (Indonesia), Sabah (Malaysia). Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.

This species is split up in (1) this endemic specis of Borneo and (2) the sooty barbet of Malaysia. Myanmar, Thailand, and Sumatra (Indonesia).
