Etymology
The specific name, saengsomi, is in honor of Buntot Saengmahasom who is a Thai animal collector.
Geographic range
B. saengsomi is found in southern Thailand.
Habitat
The preferred natural habitat of B. saengsomi is forest.
Reproduction
B. saengsomi is oviparous.
