Binomial name: Opisthotropis spenceri (Malcolm Arthur Smith, 1918)

Smith's mountain keelback or Spencer's stream snake (Opisthotropis spenceri ) is a species of snake in the family Colubridae.

It is endemic to Thailand.

Etymology

Both the specific name, spenceri, and one of the common names, Spencer's stream snake, are in honor of Mr. F.D. Spencer who collected the type specimen.
