Red-faced liocichla

Binomial name: Liocichla phoenicea, John Gould, 1837

The Red-faced Liocichla (Liocichla phoenicea) is a species of bird in the Leiothrichidae family. The Scarlet-faced Liocichla was formerly considered a subspecies.

It is found in Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Myanmar, and Nepal. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist montane forests.
